For over 100 years, we have strived to be the best bank in the Greenville, Hermitage, and Neshannock area. We came from humble beginnings as we were founded by 10 Greenville businessmen. Our bank was originally founded under the name The Board of Trade Building & Loan Association.
After deliberation, the association later changed its name to Greenville Savings and Loan Association in 1951.
The local bank experienced significant growth, and the Greenville office was built on 233 Main Street.

The Greenville location over went major renovations in 1986 that included the addition of a drive thru. This assisted us in providing more banking conveniency to our customers for personal checking and business checking transactions.
In 1992, the bank name officially changed to Greenville Savings Bank. This helped to solidify our relationship with the Greenville community and its members.
As growth continued, we became the newest local bank in Hermitage in 2002 with the opening of our second branch.
The Neshannock branch was the next new branch to open in 2005.
As we continued to support our local community, we saw the need for an operation center in Downtown Greenville. In 2018, we opened this center which allowed us to further partner with local non-profits, schools, and civic organizations.
Today, we provide the same hometown financial institution mission to our customers by creating an alternative to the “big bank” environment. We’re proud to offer competitive loan rates for mortgages and home equity loans, online banking, and friendly, personalized service.
