Help us protect your financial information.
1. CHECK your monthly or quarterly statements to ensure they match your records. If at any time you notice any discrepancies between your statements and your records, please notify us immediately.
2. NEVER give out account numbers or other personal information, unless you can validate the authenticity of the requestor.
3. ALWAYS shred personal and financial information before discarding it.
4. Every year, review your credit report. You're entitled to a free credit report annually. Simply contact one of the three main credit-reporting bureaus:

FREE On-Line Banking and Bill Pay service is available to Greenville Savings Bank customers! With GSB ONLINE you have easy access to accounts around the clock, 7 days a week from any PC with an Internet connection. You can check balances, transfer funds between GSB accounts, make loan payments and much more.
Our GSB ONLINE service employs a multi-layer protection system to safequard your financial information. It features advanced encryption technology and multiple firewalls. Each user is authenticated by the system before gaining access to any accounts.

FDIC TEMPORARY LIQUIDITY GUARANTEE PROGRAM NOTICE

Greenville Savings Bank has chosen not to participate in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Customers of Greenville Savings Bank with noninterest-bearing transaction accounts will continue to be insured through December 31, 2009 for up to $250,000 under FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.

NACHA Phishing Alert (7/22/2010) Email Claiming to be from NACHA
NACHA – The Electronic Payments Association has received reports that individuals and/or companies have received a fraudulent email that has the appearance of having been sent from NACHA. See sample of email below.
The subject line of the email states: “Unauthorized ACH Transaction.” The email includes a link that redirects the individual to a fake Web page and contains a link that is almost certainly an executable virus with malware. Do not click on the link. The text, email, and the related website are fraudulent.
Be aware that phishing emails frequently have links to Web pages that host malicious code and software. Do not follow Web links in unsolicited emails from unknown parties or from parties with whom you do not normally communicate, or that appear to be known but are suspicious or otherwise unusual.
NACHA itself does not process nor touch the ACH transactions that flow to and from organizations and financial institutions. NACHA does not send communications to individuals or organizations about individual ACH transactions that they originate or receive.
If malicious code is detected or suspected on a computer, consult with a computer security or anti-virus specialist to remove malicious code or re-install a clean image of the computer system.
Always use anti-virus software and ensure that the virus signatures are automatically updated.
Ensure that the computer operating systems and common software applications security patches are installed and current.
Be alert for different variations of fraudulent emails.
